Summer's almost here!
Every summer in the final week of July, Mesila holds a summer camp for approximately 200 foreign at risk children--including asylum seekers and the children of migrant workers. With school out for summer, and parents left with no choice but to work all day to support their families, at risk youths in southern Tel Aviv are often locked in their homes or left to wander the streets. Both situations prove dangerous and sometime fatal for effected children. With the summer camp, Mesila is striving to get children off the streets and into an engaging and stimulating environment.
